Bulk Scale Analysis - BSA™ is an analysis method that provide accurate statistics of the amount and type of scale in the produced water within days after sampling and filtering in the field. This is the most effective way to monitor if your well or process area is scaling, your scale squeeze was successful, or if your next scale squeeze can be deferred.

BSA™ can help oil companies cut costs from optimizing the use of chemicals and by lowering the need for expensive well interventions.

This online presentation will give an introduction to the BSA™ service and discuss field cases.

COVID-19 Update - 13 April: Our Bulk Scale Analysis (BSA™) laboratories in Norway (UK and Norway customers) and Oman (ME Region customers) are fully operational with good capacity and in compliance with national guidelines. We experience minor increases in turnaround time due to fewer flights, but reports are still issued to clients within a few days after sampling. Due to the extension of the lockdown of Kuwait until 26 April, our Kuwaiti lab will remain closed until that date.

We're Hiring! Operations/Sales Manager ME Region

Operations/Sales Manager ME Region

This position shall manage the continued development of Scale Protection’s inorganic scale analysis and consultancy in the ME Region.

The Sales/Operation manager shall work closely with the customers in the oil companies and advice with regards to scale management, and at the same time secure service quality from our laboratories in Kuwait and Oman.

In addition, the candidate shall follow-up and chase new opportunities in the region for our products. The Operations/Sales Manager will report directly to the head office in Norway.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in oilfield operations and sales from the ME Region. The location of the position is flexible, but willingness to weekly travel in the region will be expected.

 Responsibilities

• Manage the daily functions of the business in the ME region

• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed

• Manage budget to align with goals of business

 Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Experience in oilfield operations (production-well engineering/production chemistry) and sales in the ME Region

• Strong communication skills

• Comfortable with cross-disciplinary work
