14th of April marked an important milestone for Scale Protection, when SPIN Protection was run and installed in a well in Norway. The SPIN tool is currently undergoing a test program in a subsurface safety valve (SSSV).
Scale Protection is attending Innovasjonsstudent, which is a program hosted by KUPA and UiT The Arctic University of Norway. The program aims to connect innovative companies with students, academia and research at UiT, building a stronger relationship between local businesses and the university.
In order to provide the Bulk Scale Analysis to more and more customers, without reucing quality and turnaraound time, Scale Protection has now invested in a second Scanning Electron Microscope, SEM.
Well tracers are now available for installation in existing wells, not only in the initial completion. The tool has functionality to detect which part of the wellbore that produces water, without any logging necessary.
Scale Inhibitor Tracer for installation in sand screen is now ready. This is an alternative to the existing retrofit installation in a Tracer Carrier Tool, which has a low cost and no risk.
